Engine hours: how they are counted
After the finish the app asks what you rode and adds the ride time to the meter.
Maintenance intervals for enduro machines live in engine hours, not kilometers. In ENDURO.FAMILY you don’t have to do the math: after the finish the app asks what you rode and suggests the new meter reading — the previous one plus this ride’s moving time. Confirm it, or type the number from the dash.
The question appears offline too: your answer goes to the server together with the track. If you skipped it, and for rides from a watch or a file, the ride card has a line “Engine hours not logged” with a “Log” button.
The meter’s starting value is set when you add the vehicle — if the bike had already clocked 60 hours before the app, start from there.
Auto-pause separates stops from motion, so the lunch campfire won’t end up in the engine hours.
